Joe Dabit

Joe has lived in the Lowcountry for more than 35 years, graduating from James Island High School and the College of Charleston with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

Immediately after graduation, he went to work for the software tech company Blackbaud on Daniel Island, where he spent 8 years as a Manager and software trainer. During his time as a Systems Analyst at Blackbaud, Joe assisted clients with troubleshooting, problem-solving, and personalizing the software to meet client needs. Joe transitioned to Lead Software Trainer, which took him all over the world, educating hundreds of non-profit organizations on how to efficiently utilize the fundraising product.

This experience strengthened his communication, leadership, and customer satisfaction skills with various team members within each organization. Joe spent a great deal of his childhood in family businesses developing core customer values. Joe worked in the family business for 10 years. The small business setting allowed Joe the opportunity to network with numerous local companies, setting up and serving their special events.

Joe has two beautiful curly-haired daughters who keep their parents on their toes. Joe enjoys spending time at the family beach house, surfing, taking walks on the beach, and going to dance recitals.
