Jamie Otis

James Otis began his professional journey studying acting at NYU’s School of the Arts and performing in regional theater, modeling and singing at Manhattan’s Sign of the Dove. He transitioned into cable television production at Nickelodeon, then moved into marketing, selling the first children’s and teen programming packages to HBO and Showtime. Building on this experience, he founded his own international children’s television distribution business, forging strong relationships with program buyers worldwide. After more than 20 years in New York, he leveraged his marketing and sales expertise to enter the Los Angeles real estate market, where he developed a reputation for attentive listening, fiduciary diligence, and helping first-time buyers find homes perfectly suited to their needs.

Six years ago James relocated to South Carolina, gaining deep market knowledge by providing valuations and appraisals across Columbia and Charleston. Now a member of The Brian Beatty Team at Keller Williams Charleston/Mount Pleasant, he continues to guide clients through diverse real estate situations with care and expertise. Outside work, James pursues his passions for antiques, interior design, and architecture, splitting his time between Columbia and Charleston, and delights in advocating for animal rights alongside his two dogs, Bobby and Teddy.
